How we did it

LitraLove is designed for the bookish by the bookish, for everyone who loves literature as much as we do. From the initial spark to building the app, here are the milestones that shaped us.

2013

The first book

Our founder self-publishes her first book.

2014-2019

More books, tough market

She publishes three more books but readers are hard to find, and so are the kind of books she wants to read.

2020

A challenge means an opportunity

Our founder starts an online event to solve her problems.

2021

Book overload

The event's a success! Now she has too many books and nowhere to organize them.

A common problem

What is LitraLove?

LitraLove is a new way to organize your books. Whether you want to store your book club’s picks, recommendations from influencers, or create lists for friends, it’s simple to upload a photo or type in a title and keep everything in one place. No more books lost somewhere on your phone!

How do I purchase books through the app?

Purchasing is simple. Just click the shopping cart icon on the book you want to purchase, and you’ll be redirected to that book’s page on Amazon.

I can only find links to Amazon. Do you plan to add links to other stores?

Absolutely! We plan to add more stores as we develop.

I want to rate and review my books and track my reading. Can I do this here too?

Not yet, but we have loads of awesome ideas including new ways to rate and review books and track your reading. More coming soon!

Can I buy more image search credits?

Do I have to use an image? My friend told me a book title, can I type it in?

We offer both, so whether you have a screenshot from social media, a photo from a bookstore, or a message from a friend, LitraLove will work for you.
